Afternoon programme 10 sessions a module 90 minutes a session Groups of eight CHF 45 trial refunded if it isn't right

Choose your child's learning focus
Registering for this pathway gives your child one session a week across all four programmes below. The pathway fee is the same whichever programmes the afternoon covers.
Eight places per group. Fees, the session calendar and the full curriculum sit in the brochure.
- What the fee covers
- 10 sessions of 90 minutes across the module, one session a week, in a group of no more than eight. If the trial session isn't right for your child, we refund the CHF 45.
- If your child misses one
- Tell us before the afternoon starts and the session is made up in another group the same week, space permitting. Unannounced absences are not credited.
- Module dates
- Starts 31 August, then runs in ten-week modules, excluding Zürich school holidays. Full session calendar sent on enrolment.
What your child learns
The skills every Creative Arts group works on, across painting, theatre, writing and performance.
- Drawing and painting
- Visual storytelling
- Design thinking
- Creative expression
- Craft and mixed media
- Digital creativity foundations
Inside the Creative Arts programme
- Musical Theatre
- Song, movement and scene work towards a short piece performed at the end of the module. Children who will not sing in September usually will by January.
- Painting
- Colour, composition and material, taught by making. Children finish the module with a portfolio of work they choose from, not a folder of exercises.
- Creative Writing & Poetry
- Writing to be read out loud. Children draft, cut and redraft, and learn that a second version is normal rather than a sign something went wrong.
- Performance
- Standing up, being heard and holding an audience. The skill parents notice first at school presentations, and the one that transfers furthest.

What a module looks like
Ten sessions of 90 minutes with the same teacher and the same eight children, ending in a performance and a portfolio.
Sessions 1 to 2
Warm up
Games and short exercises so children work with each other before they work in front of each other.
Sessions 3 to 12
Make things
Weekly making across song, paint and page, with technique introduced when a child needs it rather than in advance.
Sessions 13 to 16
Rehearse
The group chooses what to show and rehearses it properly, including the parts that are not working yet.
Sessions 17 to 18
Perform
A short performance for families, and a written progress note at the end of the module.
Children develop:
- Creativity
- Self-Expression
- Confidence
- Storytelling
- Collaboration
- Presentation
